Animoto is a fun way for students to make quick videos. The web-based program also offers full-access for educators at http://animoto.com/education. I've used this in my lower-level English class to do novel presentations (almost like movie trailers), and with communication students to express various concepts from the curriculum as they apply to real-life. The example, below, is our "trailer" for senior project at CL South.
